SCOTLAND TRIP- Gale force wind and rain prevent my return flight to Heathrow last week.

I witnessed flying dustbin lids in Stirling town centre, wheelie bins blown over in Falkirk, damaged roof slates landing in the streets of Airdrie and moving tower at Glasgow Fort!

Nevertheless interesting two days investigating the retail centres to the East of Glasgow.

CENTRAL LONDON- This week had several enjoyable meetings and lunch with both friends and clients at the RAC, Pall Mall.

BUSINESS SYNERGIES- Held meeting with local surveyors to explore mutual business referrals and synergies.

Earlier this week had an informal meeting with the regional manager who confirmed that subject to minimum loans of £1million and certain other lending  criteria there were still willing to fund certain commercial property investments and developments.

A very pleasant Tuesday evening with a high number of local business men & women and councillors from Spelthorne Borough Council attended. Great food and ate my first mince pie of the festive season!

Our second curry lunch is to follow the same format as before and will be once again hosted Roshni's Riverside Restaurant, Staines. There will be another chance to network starting at 1pm with an excellent buffet lunch where you can help yourself to as much food as you like! 

The cost is £7.50 per person; the modest increase takes into account our new booking system. Drinks will be itemised by the waiters at the end of the event for everyone to pay individually.

Instructions Update- After first 3 months of trading

Very encouraging that since the 1^st September 2011 we have now picked up 6 x new agency instructions, 3 x professional work and 1 possible management. Furthermore we await 2 possible freehold instructions.

Annual Club Cricket Conference Lunch at Lords Cricket Ground

We enjoyed a fantastic Monday and which started with a private tour of the famous pavilion, museum and media centre.

Topped off with team photo from the nursery end, q & a session with former England & Middlesex captain Mike Gatting and humour from welsh comedian Rod Woodward.

West Surrey Property Awards at G Live, Guildford

Last night I enjoyed a fabulous gala dinner and with guest speaker and auctioneer Bill Beaumont (former England & British Lions rugby union captain). What a great venue and with candle light tables.

This charity events raised funds for worthwhile charities such as The Children’s Trust Tadworth . Many thanks again to my table host and event sponsor Jelf Insurance Group.

SPELTHORNE BUSINESS FORUM-Community Spirit

Earlier this week went to Staines Rugby Club for a breakfast network event and where pupils from the local school Matthew Arnold demonstrated their business skills in producing their own Christmas cards.

I experienced a genuine community spirit amongst the local businesses, rugby club members, councillors and school.
